Privacy policy

Effective September 8, 2026

This policy covers FXJ (Forex Journal), also called Trading Journal Cloud Check, operated by its owner for personal use.

Google access and purpose

The helper requests Google's drive.readonly permission, which permits viewing and downloading files throughout the connected Drive. Its own searches are limited to configured journal folders and specific snapshot filenames. It reads file metadata and downloads matching snapshots to compare them with local originals and confirm delivery.

Snapshots include account and broker identifiers, balances, profit/loss figures, trade summaries, timestamps and recorder diagnostics. They are processed on the owner's computer. Google provides authorization and Drive storage; Google Drive for desktop uploads the files.

Storage and control

Google sign-in takes place in the browser; the helper does not receive the Google password. Its reusable authorization credential is encrypted locally using Windows protection tied to the signed-in user.

Verification downloads are normally removed after checking; interrupted cleanup may leave temporary files locally. Successful cloud verification permits removal of the original staging snapshot. Cloud snapshots remain available. Local status and confirmation records remain until overwritten or removed, and credentials remain until removed.

The owner can stop the helper, revoke access in their Google Account's third-party connections, and remove retained files or credentials. Revoking access does not itself delete existing data.

Sharing and use

The helper does not send journal data or credentials to this website. It does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or send it to AI training services. Google API data is handled under the Google API Services User Data Policy and its Limited Use rules.
